Moving to Interactive Alchemy
I guess I can make this fact public now that I've turned in my resignation:
As of May 11th, I'll be leaving KnowledgeNet (part of Thomson NETg) and moving myself over to a new position with Interactive Alchemy. IA is, basically, a custom e-learning shop. They develop one-of-a-kind e-learning solutions for Fortune 500 companies, producing a custom solution for each given requirement.
I'll be joining the small, but powerful, IA team as a Flash Developer. I look forward to it very much, and I'm sure this move will generate a whole new set of challenges.

The Day the Geeks Stood Still
Well, the entire Macromedia community is now holding its breath to see what will happen as a result of the amazing announcement that Adobe is buying Macromedia for 3.4 billion dollars. And we probably won't stop holding our breath until next year.
This was definitely unexpected.
(Face turning purple now.)

Macromedia MAX 2005
Get your bags packed - only six months until MAX 2005. This time around it's in Anaheim, California, right down the street from DisneyLand. I guess instead of spending too much time on Bourbon Street (New Orleans), we'll spend too much time trying to get Chris Georgenes to draw Mickey Mouse cartoons for us.
See you there!

I'm on The Edge
Ahh ... my first article for the Macromedia Edge newsletter. I've been pretty excited about this one, because the article-viewer application Macromedia uses for the Edge newsletter is awesome. It's an app on the edge. (OK - bad joke.)
I must say, the little bug-swatting game on the first screen is a lot of fun. Thanks to whomever created it. Anyway, check out article #4: How to Bulletproof Your Web Application.
